How can an ebook be out of stock

The remaining site see above looks very amateurish and has some very obscure books on it. Nothing to do with the genres specified. This appears to be a pirate site.

I can't see a Sara Starkey book listed there. Let's be clear Sara, the is no such thing as a 'stock of ebooks'. Maybe if you had been a little more lucid with your OP, it wouldn't have lead other posters to ridicule that OP. Even given away, you wouldn't have had that many. And that's no disrespect to your books, whatever they are. Your sales are slow because that's the reality of self publishing. There are ways of dealing with piracy. There's a form you can email to the website, assuming that they are contactable, that is.

I dare say the remaining site will disappear soon. May 27, AM. If that is the case, I will seek all remedies at law. The important thing is to click on your book and see if it is being offered for PDF download or if it only has a link to the books Amazon page.

If the latter is true, it isn't costing you anything and the "in stock" numbers mean nothing. I suspect they mean nothing in either case; just more Internet BS but that's just a guess. If it is being offered for PDF download, record the "in stock" number then download the PDF and see if the number of in stock copies decreases by one.

You might even take screenshots of the before and after and save them as proof that they are in fact, distributing your work. Let us know how it turns out. Thanks, Paul.
